Comb Back Windsor Chair

The ‘Comb Back’ Windsor Chair by Howe London is traditionally made by dedicated Windsor chair maker from English ash. The blackened finish, unique to ash is achieved using a bare flame, after which the surface is burnished to remove any traces of soot and retrieve some of the warm colour and texture of the grain.
