Lucy Burley Ceramics are inspired by the still life paintings of Morandi, and by the colours of the sky, the seashore, precious stones, plants and trees. The vessels are thrown on the wheel using white earthenware clay, and then glazed with a smooth semi-matt earthenware glaze of Lucy's own formulation with the texture of eggshell. The interior glaze is transparent and safe for food and drink.
Thrown on the potters wheel using white earthenware clay, this bottle vase is perfect for displaying a single bloom; it can also be grouped with other Lucy Burley vessels to make an elegant "still-life" collection. The smooth glazed exterior is a green colour.
